Dr. Simonson’s interest for dentistry began at the age of seven, when her childhood dentist impressed her with his caring and fun attitude, and love for his job. Since then, she has done everything she can to pursue and enrich her career as a dentist.
Her practice philosophy is to treat every patient with the same respect, devotion, and care as she would a close family member. She loves working with each patient to find the most appropriate solutions for their unique dental situation. Dr. Simonson enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and finds it especially rewarding to help those who may have dental fear or anxiety. She aims to provide dental care that will give our patients bright and healthy smiles for an entire lifetime.
Dr. Simonson attended Mounds View High School and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Simonson takes many continuing education courses each year to learn new and advanced dental techniques that directly benefit our patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the St. Paul District Dental Society, and also participates in the Spear Study Club. In addition, she is passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer work for Give Kids a Smile, Donated Dental Services, and the Minnesota Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy.
